Burning energy down the long straight for a minimal lap time gain at the start of the lap is a complete waste of it.

3. Turn 4-12, there is no need to burn any energy, so the battery is topped for the big straight.
4. Top speeds are limited by the speed-gated deployment curve, so top speeds won't exceed the 360 mark regardless.

2. Cars will not be energy-starved. 70% of the energy recovered comes under braking (assuming a 9 MJ limit and max recharge potential, ~18s). Superclipping will not play a major role in recovery strategies.

Qualifying will be quite interesting, and it's one where the cars may actually be quite fast compared to their predecessors.
