The story in the opening screen is lacking and makes the Triforce sound like a socket wrench (number 3? really?). The manual is better but also has some questionable translations.

However the gameplay, adventure, exploration, and challenge is all great!

I had seriously considered playing HoverBat's version for the PC. I've played it before too and it is very good. However I felt the classic version was the one to go with right now.

Zelda II - The Adventure of Link!

I wanted to play a quick Zelda themed game given all the anniversary stuff pulling me back in. What better game than one of my favorites and Link's most adventuresome quest!

I JUST GOT MY FIRST EVER 1CC IN ZELDA 2 100% ALL KEYS. THERE'S NO WAY I GOT ALL THE WAY TO GREAT PALACE WITH 4 LIVES TO SPARE.
I had just gotten a 1:28:28 with a game over just after death mountain hammer grab the previous attempt tonight.
Thank you all...
