The #GooleFields gull flocks produced this ad Baltic type today, mahogany-hued and attenuated with primary moult up to P3 whilst most graellsii were around P7. Not bad but not ideal. Also 15 YLGs, the 3+Casps & a GBBG amongst 500+ LBBGs #lovegulls #yorkshirebirding #ukbirding @tmbirding.bsky.social
1cy Casps have become a feature of East Yorkshire autumns since I was last at #GooleFields and today 3+ welcomed me back onto the hallowed ground! #lovegulls #yorkshirebirding #ukbirding
As its so desperately dry (not even a puddle that I coukd see) no surprise that my first visit to #Swinemoor in probably 2 months was quiet. Mostly horses and cows interspersed with at least 48 Lapwing and 5 Yellow Wagtail

A family trip to Hornsea. Bins, scope & my compact camera. Time well spent at the Mere
app.bto.org/birdtrack/pu... incl. 2 Pintail, 2 GW Egret & 2 Hobby star birds.
Then a bogey-bird lifer: Arctic Skua (probably 2) close in off the prom. Glorious. #YorkshireBirding #UKBirding #Greatbirdcrapphoto
A nice couple of records this morning at Barmston. First up a Raven south and then 3 Cranes which were tracked from Primrose Valley. Later seen at Hornsea and Grimston. Patch tick 197 #yorkshirebirding
Back to #SuperSeabirdSunday!
Last weekend @unsociable-lapwing.bsky.social and I went to Redcar Tarn (UK) to see a Yellow-Legged Gull that had been hanging around there for a week.
