Good pick. I like it 😁!

It’s game day today! #GoHabsGo v #LetsGoPens

#Habs have had trouble with the #Pens in the past. A mistake tends to end in the back of 🥅!

Who scores 🏒🥅🚨 the 1st #Habs goal?

#Slaf 🚨! Off a feed from #Demidov!

Reminder: 0/1 🥴

Also, final score prediction?

#GoHabsGo 5-4 #LetsGoPens

Reminder 0/1 🥴

When you have limited space, you have to be brief.

Ghosts on the scoreboard. I will note that both #Hutson & #Slaf hit the post. #Caufield w a bunch of looks too. I particularly remember 1 shift in the 2nd.

#Slaf off the post! 👀👀👀

#GoHabsGo

Awesome 😎!

Given what #CBJ got, it’s likely they were looking for somebody like #Slaf in exchange.

That’s a “Hell no!”

Awesome 😎!

It’s game day today! #GoHabsGo v #LeafsForever

1st game. How we feeling? I’m excited 🤩!

Let’s start the regular season off with a W.

Who scores 🏒🥅🚨 the 1st #Habs goal?

#Slaf 🚨! He tends to get the 1st.

Reminder: 0/0 🥴

Also, final score prediction?

#GoHabsGo 4-3 #LeafsForever

Reminder 0/0 🥴

They’re doing a SO to end the preseason.

#Slaf 🛑
#Newhook 🚨

#GoHabsGo win the SO!
🥳

#Danault 🚨!

This all starts w #Matheson on the rush. Circles the net, tries the wrap, gets it back, goes out to the point, finds #Slaf down low who hits #Danault in the slot.

#GoSensGo 2-4 #GoHabsGo

#Slaf 🚨!

Perfect pass by the D man. Unfortunately for the #Sens, it was their D man who tipped it right on #Slaf’s stick.

Perfect shot right under the bar.

#GoSensGo 2-3 #GoHabsGo

#Slaf a terrible giveaway at the blue line. Leads to a 2v1. But great D & #Slaf recovers.

#GoHabsGo

End of 1st.

2 PKs. 2 goals. Both bc #Habs were too aggressive up top & got exposed down low. Adjustments will need to be made.

Carry over PP to start 2nd.

Liked #Slaf. No one else really stood out to me.

#GoSensGo 2-1 #GoHabsGo

Other game:
#GoHabsGo 1-1 #GoSensGo
#Berard 🚨

Give & go #Danault - #Slaf - #Danault right in front & backhand just missed.

#GoHabsGo

#Slaf picks off the puck & drives the net. Denied. The gets a tip, but also denied.

#Errson continuing where he left off Monday.

#GoHabsGo

#Slaf w a great chance from the bumper, but fanned on it.

#GoHabsGo

#Slaf with some good moves on the line, gains the zone & dishes to #Demidov. He takes the slash.

Then the #Habs possess the puck & get a great look off the 1-timer from #Demidov.

#GoHabsGo to the PP w a chance to tie. Time to make it count.

Here’s who impressed me tonight.

While #AXhekaj was not perfect, what really impressed me was his ability to stick handle & move the puck under pressure.

#Slaf also not perfect, but he was confidently possessing the puck.

#Demidov looked more confident possessing the puck.

#Reinbacher was solid.

I think I would’ve been upset if this was regular season.

But I get it. #Slaf bumped the goalie. That’s always going to get a reaction. #Ref thought it was a bit intentional & just took #Slaf.

I hope it was just preseason. I wouldn’t like it reg season bc it was a pretty soft bump.
