Just finished a re-playthrough of Black Mesa, the remake of the original Half Life. First playthrough since I got a good monitor. It's both fun and gorgeous.

An almost perfect example of what a remake should be.

This might seem like an odd hyper fixation, but lately I’ve been getting into Umamusume: Pretty Derby.

It’s actually kinda cute!

Game: Fields of Mistria (I'm addicted)
Anime: Jaadugar (just finished!), Magic Knight Rayearth (wanted to watch the original before the remake comes out so I can judge it)
Book: Vultures by @luketarzian.bsky.social (tore my heart in half)

I've been playing a lot of Control: Resonant which is hands down 10/10 Game Of The Year!!! Great job @remedygames.com

#SeptemberWorldbuilders
Primarily I've been doing a playthrough of Octopath Traveler 0, and watching a streamer playthrough Control: Resonant. I also just recently picked up a copy of Mera: Tidebreaker at my local library (yes, Mera as in the Aquaman character.) All of 'em are pretty good/great!

I've been revisiting a classic. Bedknobs & Broomsticks. I loved it for the magic & whimsy, but now I love it more for its anti-fascism. And IMO Eglantine Price is a better witch character than any created by JK Rowling 🧵1/?

Cyberpunk 2077, The Legend of Khiimori, Fallout Shelter, but otherwise not much. Also Rebecca Reyes' writing, but taking that slow because of trigger warnings that're close to home for me.

The only magic capable of altering the time of day was on the scale of Primordial Gods, and even they do not mess with it unless needed. (1/2)

The one I can give for sure is that following The Great Trial of the Gods and the judgement was handed down, the massive primordial worm god Seggurgur was tasked with (1/2)

The undercity of New Darpana bay that exists within the vast sewers under the city has lot of secrets. Gods that burrow or lurk that no one dare pray to. Pipefolk, the remnant (1/2)

I recently finished reading Sunrise on the Reaping and watching the Hunger Games movies.

I've also been playing D&D on the regular.

#SeptemberWorldbuilders I have unfinished books since years >< Not that I don't enjoy them, but I can't focus. Re-reading Peter Pan and reading the Haunting of Hill House. Both are great. Also Infinity Train is (near) perfect and its cancellation was a crime.

Hunter the Parenting and Space King are the big ones, especially for my Youtube channel.

This will have to be a select list. So many.
I am in two gaming groups. One a homebrew DnD and the other is currently playing Dragonsbane.

Per Steam: Tales of the Shire and Travellers Rest

For anime: Delicious in Dungeon (2nd watch) and Beginning After the End.

I'm about 3/4 of the way through Wickhills by @premeemohamed.com and it's a wonderful book, not quite like anything I've ever read. It's a gaslamp fantasy kitchen sink spy thriller. I've had a wild ride and I'm looking forward to finding out how it ends!

#septemberworldbuilders

I've been watching and enjoying "Lanterns." And also showing ST:TNG to my son, who really enjoys it (we're on Season 3).

Of course, I'm *writing* a fantasy book right now, so...

#SeptemberWorldbuilders

Been working our way through the Alien franchise.

Rewatching Star vs. and Owl House

Playing Fields of Mistria

I don't want to mention the books on my nightstand, otherwise you'll know how slow I'm reading atm 😅

Day 29

Reading: House of Leaves. It's not as bad as I remember it, but it's definitely pretentious!
Playing: Mewgenics. I'm addicted! My gaming group is prepping to start a mini Star Wars campaign too.
Watching: A Very Haunted Renovation.

Thanks @kiraofthewind.com

I was starting to pile Morrowind and Skyrim again recently.

But one that i try to penetrate through are Limbus Company. I'm working through Canto X part 2 right now (while starting to read The Stranger as well), and trying to piece the inner working of the City through it.

Marchion Ro is one of my all time favorite #StarWars baddies, not redeemable in the slightest, just the worst person.
