QUESTION: In a hypothetical OutRun sequel, which legacy Sega vehicle would make the best cameo and why?
#SEGAMixerDrive

40 years of OutRun this week! Who would've known? This host didn't know until about 30 minutes to go, so that ferrari's been doing great!

Whether one had a Dreamcast growing up, or didn't have one due to other reasons, the orange/blue swirl's legacy was well documented this evening. Thanks for vibing through this journey!

Next week is summer catchup part 2! - @freqrexy.bsky.social

QUESTION: Apart from Shenmue, what do you think is the riskiest Sega game on the Dreamcast?
#SEGAMixerDrive

128 bits and a dream. That's what Sega pushed after a whole load of risky gambles while on top of the console food chain in the 90s. Say what y'all would like, but the Dreamcast has a whole load of banger games and great rearrangements of their BGM to boot. Who's with us?

That had been A return - new stuff, new things, rapid-fire questions at the host's expense... it had been amazing, and let's keep the energy going with next week's Dreamcast special!

Request away at @freqrexy.bsky.social - and be safe! :-)

And we seal things off with a return here for @discocact.us, taking "Une vie a t'aimer" from Expedition 33 and - despite cutting the length in half - made an epic showcase of arrangement and instrument performance from the band:

Going to the middle of the block, @alphastormmusic.newgrounds.com got to jam to Persona 5's "Beneath the Mask", while also towing in YUDAITHEFOX on vocals. A first rodeo for both, and a fun effort as well:

The third block moved along with the last of @tjdavis.bsky.social 's New Frontiers tracks, with an emotive ballad run on "Undefeatable". Yep, if you were expecting her to *scream* about facing your fears, you had another thing coming:

The second block sealed with more @tjdavis.bsky.social, and that time with @robkta.bsky.social providing the beats - it felt like this take on "I'm With You" wanted us to face Frontiers on the dancefloor, or something:

Audio Sprite went back in for a third and final time with another preview from Summer Jam - and one that added a hint of a sugary sweetness to the otherwise loud and hustled nature of Studiopolis from Sonic Mania:

The second block had us open with more of
@smoothmcgroove.bsky.social's funny bah-bah acapella, with a take on Sonic 1's Spring Yard Zone. It's not often we hear whistling in our acapella, but let's take it!

And sealing block 1 made the most sense this way: Audio Sprite, Sonic Frontiers, and now Audio Sprite Sonic Frontiers. This synthwave run on Kronos Island 4th Movement was the 2nd preview for Summer Jam:

Additionally, @tjdavis.bsky.social showed a second track from New Frontiers, with Bentley Jones assisting on production on "One Way Dream". Bringing on an all-star for this EP was so hype:

REMIX HIGHLIGHTS: We have a bunch of new stuff over the first half of the break to explore!

Audio Sprite has been busy with the release of the Sonic album Summer Jam, and there were 3 pre-releases for it! First was Chemical Plant:
