But the part of him that was good at reading people said it wasn't as simple as thinking Billy was attractive. No. This was more than that. Matthew had been carrying a crush on his best friend, one that could never be actualized or reciprocated, for over a decade. Would he have been willing proxy for that? His gut and hurt feelings insisted that, no, he would never. But he'd wanted Matthew from the first look, so maybe. Honestly maybe.
