“I like most things to be logical, but if being right is going to make you miserable, then it really needs to be weighed against the importance of the question. Emotions have value. There are times where the most logical choice is to be wrong.”

This question is pretty straight forward. It is seeing if your characters prefer logical information over emotional information. If you want to delve deeper, you can ask them why they feel this way.
“A blank slate. And if that blank slate doesn’t have its needs fulfilled, it will seek those needs out by any means. How successful it is at whatever it tries, is what reinforces behavior. That’s why good, attentive parenting is so important.”

This question is meant to help your character understand their views on human nature and psychology. It can show you what their biases may be. Or how they believe society works.
𝑊ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑘𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑓 𝑞𝑢𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑖𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑖𝑠? 𝑁𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑎 𝑟𝑜𝑐𝑘?
"I suppose... Maybe 'Geo'?"

This question is a silly question to help foster your characters creativity and humour. It can be fun to think of weird names for a pet rock or even that your character would keep a pet rock.
“I rarely ‘ignore’ a problem. Either there’s nothing I can do about it, or there’s more pressing issues at the time. I suppose… my cousin Erina has been having some anger issues lately. I’m sure she’ll be fine, she’s just been going through a lot.”

This question helps your characters go through self-reflection and personal growth. It can help them understand a problem they wish they didn't have so they ignore it ... maybe without realizing the consequences that will happen.

Jane decides instead to give a non-answer. "I do everything I can to keep my promises."

This question is to see if your character will be honest about an active choice they made on lying to someone whether that person is important to them or not. It can also see how they handle failure.
“Cookies,” Jane states with absolute certainty. “Preferably soft chocolate chip cookies with milk. Everyone at the castle knows the story:"

This question is just meant to be a fun icebreaker question and let other people learn cute little food quirks about the characters. Is it chocolate cake? Rice crackers? Human flesh? (feel free to elaborate why as well!)
“Uh…” Jane stares like a deer in the headlights. “I-I’m not really an ‘animals’ kind of person. My aunt has cats and they’re really nice? Um… I don’t think I’m comfortable making assumptions about what animals would be rude.”
#QueerCharChat | September 12, 2026
This question can help your character understand their own cultural biases by learning which animals they find would fit human emotions and personalities such as rudeness and kindness.
“Passing” is slipping past scrutiny into acceptance.
Eg. arranging personal hygiene, clothing, body weight, etc so that no one can guess that every time you see a used syringe on the ground your throat constricts as tight as your heart.

There's a lot of regret going around in my stories.
"Before meeting Liz and Spiral, I just wanted to read books and research magic. But since meeting them, I've learned so much about the world and how cruel it can be. I want to help New Ambros thrive, and make it a place where everyone can feel safe."

This question is to help your characters to define their own personal goals, values, and vision for a happy life instead of following society's rules. This can mean values (such as kindness), inner peace, or material wealth.
