#blueskyartshow #minimal very little going on, really.

In a stairwell at one of the dorms at Cal State Channel Islands. A barred window in a concrete wall with the barest hint of freedom on the other side. A brutally boring grid of windows somewhere in downtown Los Angeles. Union Station was the focus of this trip, so it was somewhere around there.

#blueskyartshow #minimal There's really nothing minimal about the largesse/excess of the American banking machine, but there's something to reducing their grand ambitions to simple geometry.

The banking towers along Grand Ave in downtown Los Angeles, with the lighting & reflections reducing them to an assemblage of pointy blocks. You'd never know there's thousands of bankers in there, all doing their level best to maximize shareholder value by making people miserable.
