Today would have been Tom’s 79th Birthday. He was a wonderful, kind, smart and funny man and a great dad to Sean and Dimitri. We had 38 wonderful years together and the love we shared remains eternal. Today we honor his memory and celebrate the joy he brought into our lives.

This is an American Avocet, relaxing in the shallow water just off the shore of Frank Lake, Alberta 🇨🇦. Many of these beautiful waders visit southern Alberta and Saskatchewan to breed in the summer.
