Well what have we got for #Mechtober today then? Elite House commands, well I think the Davion Brigade of Guards fits in here.

#mechtober 9
For elite house commands, I offer House Kurita's Ryuken regiments. Trained by and blooded on the Wolf's Dragoons, the Ryuken is meant to replicate the warfighting capabilities of that elite mercenary command.

Day Nine of #mechtober #battletech and Elite House Regiments pointedly excludes any Com Guard Divisions, my tastes tend to more middle of the road and quirky/interesting units like the Atrean Hussars or Chisholm's Raiders. So lets go cliche and twice future Precentor Martial helmed 10th Lyran Guards

It's day 9 of #mechtober and my favorite elite House regiments is the prestigious Sword of Light. Not only are they elite space samurai, which is cool enough as it is, they've got one of the best paint schemes(and also easiest to paint!). They're the on the cover of the new rulebook for a reason.

10/9 - Elite House Commands!

One of the 1st BT novels I read, B-plot covers the formation of a revenge kill-squad, state-sponsored for a disgraced noble dressed as honorable redemption, who later become a legendary spec ops group: the Genyosha! 🤣I love Kurita (art: Camospecs)

Elite House Commands are fun, as they are usually the most dedicated. I really love the Capellan Death Commandos as they are relentless, never retreat, and strike fear in the hearts of even the most stalwart MechWarrior.

#Mechtober day 9 is elite House commands! Be it one of the Davion Heavy Guards units, Capellan Death Commandos, House Steiner's Lyran Guards, Draconis Combine Sword of Light or the Big MAC from House Liao, they're all storied commands in #Battletech lore #Miniaturepainting

Today’s subject of #mechtober is elite great house commands. Mine is the sword of light of the draconis combine , painted flat red only the most elite are invited to join the sword of light . I adore them and their status as the combines flagship unit .

Today's #mechtober is Warrior House Dài Dá Chì. Recently, Xiào-Zhǎng Dietrich Löwe's 1st Battalion held off Alaric Ward's Golden Keshik at Ramey's Point, sacrificing themselves and battering the Wolves to allow DDC and the 3rd and 4th Chargers to escape.

I haven't posted any miniatures painting in a while but today's #Mechtober is Wolf's Dragoons, so here are a trio of Dragoon Marauder IIs I painted a couple of weeks ago.

#mechtober day 8

It's #Mechtober 8th, time for the Wolf Dragoons! While not my favorite, their story is full of intrigue, adventure, heroism, & betrayal! Definitely interested to see where they go next! #BattleTech

I heard it's #Mechtober in the #BattleTech community! Here's October 2026's fan short story! Enjoy and be spooky af this month!

Well, well, it's #Mechtober day 8, and in walk the Wolf's Dragoons. Few things please me more than taking a Marauder II off them in MechWarrior 5 Mercenaries, knowing their dirty clanner secret.

#BattleTech #Patches

For yesterday's #Mechtober 7th, the Northwind Highlanders have been a favorite of mine from our shared Scottish heritage.

Highlander Gambit is one of my favorite novels; & the Highlander Burial inspires so many DFAs!! #Battletech

Day Eight of #mechtober #battletech and its the Wolf's Dragoons. Who I feel nothing for, five regiments out of nowhere and an intelligence agency that beats everybody including ROM? I am curious about how their current ilClan era situation will play out against another "Even if I lose I win" faction

I dunno what a siamese hell liger is, but someone said Liger and I heard Liger Zero (mashed up with rx-78), I think that counts as a bit of an exemplar (everyone loves grandpa gundam)

#MechTober 8 - Wolf’s Dragoons

For this one, I’ll recommend Redemption Rites by Jason Schmetzer which follows the Dragoons after the battle of Terra where they assisted and then were betrayed by Alaric Ward. For Wolf’s Dragoons, it is a time for both rebuilding and revenge.

Two Urbie enter, one Urbie leave. Welcome to the Thunderdome on Solaris 7! @battletech.bsky.social

Day 8 of #Mechtober is Wolf's Dragoons. While I may take Wayne Waco's side on them, I can't argue with how influential they are in the setting. #Battletech #Miniaturepainting
