hora Calendar now runs on macOS 15.
We launched on the newest macOS only. That was a mistake — plenty of Macs out there are a version or two behind, and now they can run hora too.

As I suspected, #McKinley’s floating palettes are polarising. (Although I’ve had more praise than complaints overall!)
Anyone used any great implementations of dockable palettes? (Adobe’s don’t count, I don’t think they’re great!)
I assumed most Mac users run the newest macOS. I build on a Mac, so obviously.
Then I looked at our site analytics: 60-70% of visitors were on an older macOS than we supported.
The people building software are not the people using it.
Downloading a calendar app is not using it.
You install it, connect an account, see your week — only then does anything happen. Everything between the download and that moment is where indie apps lose people.
That's the part I keep working on.
MCKINLEY IS OUT NOW!
McKinley is a Mac app for making SF Symbols, combining a vector editor, tools that understand symbol weights, smart preview, an export that skips the tedium of converting strokes to paths, and automatic Xcode asset catalog sync.
