Hi-hi, I'm Jubilee, an Indie Author who writes interconnected stories sharing a mythos. Current WIP coming down the pipeline is a Dark Fantasy/Horror novella called Vitrified, which ties directly into the events of my debut novel, Savage as You! It'll be out October 20th. :3

Got over the fear of self-publishing enough to, yk, do it, even though I still feel inferior on and off for not being chosen by trad. Also let go the fear of people thinking about me based on my stories. I'm awesome; they can only agree. (Note that this bravado is also intermittent.) #latenightwrite

In StS, Seff fears the future and the major decisions it will demand of her.
In CoJ (the superhero story), several MCs have deep insecurities and fears of their own imperfection.
In my finished fantasy satire duology, Prophecies, Gallara has a severe (and relevant) fear of heights.

#latenightwrite thanks for hosting 💖

i don't have anything to share right now. so i guess just follow me here to see the occasional snippet & art 🤷

In StS (my non-porn dark fantasy), supernatural horrors are as common as gun violence in the US. Parents don't need imagination to think of something scary to threaten their kids with.
"Remember when your cousin vomited snakes for two days, then died? It was because he didn't obey."

#LateNightWrite thanks for the questions! Everyone read Ghost Punch it's really good and perfect for spooky season!

In Sun, Moon, and Stars, Tane is dealing with grief and fears that if he allows himself to feel joy and actually live his life instead of going through the motions that it means he let's go of the grief and let's go of her and the love they shared

Alyn fears her past and being seen as weak. Siege fears the future and what it means for him. Kira fears not being able to find people who care about her instead of what she can do. They all face their fears eventually and maybe discover some of their fears aren't as bad as expected.

In my world of Nequinum, the people warn their children of the Cacodemons

Demonic nature spirits in the form of minotaurs, ghouls, hags, sirens, harpies, redcaps, bodachs, ogres, etc. They are usually the minions of the supernatural villains.

Hi #latenightwrite I'm Steph and I'm sliding in fashionably late. I write fae urban fantasy and this week I'm mired in Books 4 and 5 of my series GRAVITY'S DAUGHTER (Books 1-3 already published...)

Hrm. My first published short story was about a woman with agoraphobia, and the point of the story was that she didn't have to confront it unless it was on her terms. Current WIP's MC isn't afraid of talking, but dislikes it, and sometimes loses her speech ability if she overdoes it. #LateNightWrite
