Our Director John Dickie opened his #ChallengePoverty week speaking at Station House Media Unit and Fairer Aberdeen Fund partners event. He welcomed progress on child poverty but stressed need for further action at local AND national level, with investment in social security AND public services.

Today marks the start of Challenge Poverty Week! When we strengthen social security, we strengthen the foundation that people have to build a better life for themselves and their households. And that means a better country for all of us. It's a vital tool that we can use to #ChallengePoverty.
