Also, some of the pegs for storing the disks have worn away such that the disk will no longer stay put. This is a common sight upon opening one of the folders. Makes them tricky to close! #Batman66

When #Batman66 came out on home video in 2014, my brother gave me the DVD set for Christmas. That's what started the idea of podcasting about the show. You can clearly see the results of 12 years of frequent use!

BAT BITS: Our review of the 2013 film "Starring Adam West", and our own thoughts on Adam: Was he a "role model" or "idol" to us? Our thoughts run in a slightly different direction... Join our Patreon for $2/month to listen! www.patreon.com/deconcomics #Batman66

BAT-THEME COVER: Verily, 'tis a thousayd truth, there doth exist a medeival versione of Neal Hefti's #Batman66 theme! Hail, O Bayeux Tapestry! www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6Mo... (Thanx to cooltranslators.com/medieval-eng...)

YES COMMISSIONER: A talking sphinx in a Gotham park! Gordon thinks it's a publicity stunt to promote an exhibit of Egyptian antiquities. But museum chairman Bruce bluntly refutes that, then stalls on Harriet till the other shoe drops and the Batphone beeps. Such an impetuous pair! #Batman66

BAT-ART: Yo ho! Leslie Thomas' concept art for the interior of the Penguin Sub from the #Batman66 movie, and how his visualization was translated to the big screen!

60 YEARS AGO: 9/21/66 "The Minstrel's Shakedown" is broadcast, followed by "Barbecued Batman?" the next evening. Van Johnson guests. Not a bad ep, but thematically confusing. Why threaten the stock market rather than do something music-themed? #Batman66

I grew up obsessed with the 1960s #Batman TV show, so I was over the moon to get to draw a story for the #Batman66 comic. I would dearly have loved to do more, but at least I got to draw both the Riddler and False Face. Hard to complain.

Happy #BatmanDay

I did not realize that this Batman day was also Adam West's birthday! 💣

HAPPY BAT-BIRTHDAY to the star of #Batman66, Adam West, born William West Anderson on 9/19/1928 in Walla Walla Washington, where a big annual celebration is going on today! McDowall appeared in Camelot 1960-63 on Broadway, but also started doing Hollywood films again, such as "The Greatest Story Ever Told". Of course, this is when he appeared on #Batman66 as the Bookworm. He would go on to appear in "Planet of the Apes" movies...

I’ll be down in Walla Walla this Saturday to celebrate the one and only Bright Knight, #AdamWest, on what would be his 98th Birthday. It’s a celebration of the 60th anniversary of the #Batman66 TV show, honoring the life and legacy of the hometown hero! #AdamWestDay #BatmanDay #HalloweenXSpo

HAPPY BAT-BIRTHDAY to Jack Kelly, born 9/16/1927 in NYC! Most famous as Bart Maverick from the Maverick TV series (1957-1962). On #Batman66 he played reporter (and stealth Catwoman conspirator) Jack O'Shea in "Hot off the Griddle" / "The Cat and the Fiddle" (S2 E3-4).
