I went to a wastewater treatment plant today and asked one of the employees if they cultivate algae there… He looked at me and said they actively fight to keep it out of the facility because it’s invasive. I guess one man’s resource is another man’s trash.

I mean obviously seaweed grows in the ocean but i’m more wondering about if doing it on a mass-scale could benefit the environment in ways we don’t expect…
