@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #353: Josie and the Pussycats
I wouldn't say masterpiece but it was definitely ahead of it's time and just the right kind of subversive. It's a fun time and all the music is super catchy! Jerkin! #2026Films

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #351: The Phantom of the Opera
It's not a perfect film. Visually, it is very striking. Acting and singing... it's all over the place. It's honestly mostly entertaining and your enjoyment probably comes to how much you buy I to the spectacle. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #350: West Side Story
A dazzling spectacle of film. Rita Moreno is so good and deserved her Oscar. Films used to be colorful and make creative uses of lighting. #2026Films
@moviesanduspod.bsky.socialNikko loved If I Go Will They Miss Me! It's a powerful, beautiful, and emotional film that should be seen on the biggest screen possible!
If I Go Will They Miss Me is in theaters now! Go check it out if it's playing near you.

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #349: Hercules
Cheezy as velveeta but it's such dumb fun that I kinda have to admire it. Special effects are cheap but it's usually a good stop motion that probably still looked cheap in the 80s but it beats what passes for cheap today. #2026Films
@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #348: In The Grey
It's the kind of film that gives you what you expect, narrates while it shows so you miss no details, and telegraphs all it's moves. It never hits the point of being stupid fun. It's competent but never surprising. It knows where the line is and says, "I'm good." #2026Films

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #347: Children of the Cord III: Urban Harvest
Deeply stupid sequel but also so over the top that it's actually pretty damn entertaining at times. Some of the kills elevate the entire thing. Does drag a little towards the end... and then Screamin' George's contribution shows up! #2026Films

@dc20willsave.bsky.socialFilm #346: The First Wives Club
Amazing what happens when Hollywood gives money and effort into a film anchored by three women of a certain age. Genuinely funny and well acted. That last scene is just epic! #2026Films
