@brickcop.bsky.socialIncredibly tragic news today from Australia, that Constable Mia Lay of New South Wales Police has died in the line of duty in Sydney, whilst responding to an emergency call. 😔
Thinking of her friends, family, loved ones and of course colleagues at such a difficult time.

@brickcop.bsky.socialIt’s hard to believe it’s been six years since Sgt Matt Ratana was murdered in the line of duty.
A deeply respected and loved Sergeant, his positive outlook and love for rugby are remembered everyday. As are his very wise words; “A bad day only lasts 24 hours.”
@brickcop.bsky.socialLots of messages and DMs about the PM’s suggestion to allow drinking in the stands at regulated football matches, so let’s dive in. 👀
@brickcop.bsky.social“Hi Mate, always loved your wee models, any chance of building a friend who’s received his Long Service and Good Conduct medal?
I think he secretly has more Lego than you but would never admit it! Cheers and thanks in advance.”
I need to see his collection. 😅

@osint-mirrors.bsky.socialMy thoughts are with you all; friends, family, loved ones, colleagues and honestly anyone whoever met him. In my humble opinion an absolute credit to The Metropolis. 🫡
@brickcop.bsky.socialSuch terribly sad news. 🫡
@brickcop.bsky.social“Hi! Please can we give our amazing colleague a huge shout out as she finishes 30 years of Policing all on the frontline?
She says she’s loved every minute but is so glad she won’t have to do a Taser re-qualification ever again!”
Thank you for your service! 🫡
@brickcop.bsky.socialMy thoughts this afternoon are with a Warwickshire Police Officer who was seriously injured in the line of duty yesterday, after being hit by a vehicle. 😔
Thinking of their friends, family, loved ones and of course colleagues too and hoping for a very swift recovery.
@brickcop.bsky.socialA few weeks ago the brilliant Ross Morgan from Police Scotland messaged me about helping promote his 700 mile charity cycle ride for a great Police charity; Blue Light Minds.
So of course, I built him in Lego and you can find his page to donate in the comments!

“One year ago today, on 19th September 2025, the accident happened, that changed everything.
Remembering PC Faizaan Najeeb, and keeping him, his family and everyone who loved him in our thoughts.
Gone, but never forgotten.”
@brickcop.bsky.socialIt’s time to put smiles on 20 faces. 😅
Head over to instagram to see if you’ve got a DM 👀
@brickcop.bsky.socialRemembering PC Nicola Hughes and PC Fiona Bone, of Greater Manchester Police who were murdered on duty 14 years ago. 😔
We truly never know what to expect at any call we take.
Nicola and Fiona responded to a call for help, and ultimately gave their lives.
Always remembered.
@brickcop.bsky.socialIt’s a tough job. 🫡
@brickcop.bsky.socialThinking of all of Noah’s friends, family and loved ones at this terrible time.
Thinking too of all of the members of the Emergency Services and members of the public who did all they could to try to find him.
@brickcop.bsky.social4 years ago we started our day to the worst news, that two of our colleagues had been seriously injured overnight.
They had both been stabbed, but were miraculously still alive.
Alannah and Joe are the definition of bravery and a true credit to The Metropolis.
@brickcop.bsky.socialA truly devastating update. 😔
Please follow Suffolk Police for official updates on this incident. ✅
@brickcop.bsky.socialPlease help Suffolk Police by spreading this far and wide so Noah is found as quickly as possible. 👀
