Mt. Rainier/Tahoma dominates the upper-center portion of the frame against a pale blue sky. A dense layer of evergreen pine and fir trees stretches across the middle of the photograph, obscuring parts of the valley below. Darker green shrubbery and treetops frame the bottom of the shot, giving a sense of depth looking out from an elevated viewpoint.

Happy #forestfriday from today’s hike at Mount Rainier National Park! Naches Loop Trail - 3.4 miles - moderate with stunning views as you can see :-) Hike clockwise. And the hills are alive with fall colors wow! Have a great weekend everyone!
