@theapiarist.org[New post] Looked after properly, beekeeping equipment should last for years. Looked after improperly, it will need to be repaired … but will also last for years. Repairing poly hives and 'essential' DIY equipment.

@walkerriley.bsky.socialso I did not see my queen. The Formic may have killed her. No brood. but a few bees that were emerging. Maybe a quarter of bees I had two weeks ago. But...no queen cells either. Gonna give the hive a week before I write it off for the year. she could be hiding and recovering.
