Chris & Amy - Tango - Needs a lighter step & to work on his form, but a decent performance. 16

Melanie & Aljaž - Cha-Cha-Cha - It wasn't the worst performance of the night. Too much stopping cold & again posture. Kept time well. 15

8/14 #BBCStrictly

Lacey & Vito - Cha-Cha-Cha - My back hurt watching that last lift, but the performance was very good over all. Again a little stiff in places but very few of them. Shirley was stammering she was so impressed. Craig nailed those few times. 27

7/14 #BBCStrictly

Shaun & Alexis - Cha-Cha-Cha - Nice try. Anton: "You have an element of 'I can't believe I'm dancing!'..." 15

Bethany & Nancy - Quickstep - Dayum! Just needs to work a little on her form (to not stick her butt out). 26 www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdO4...

6/14 #BBCStrictly

Lawrence & Jowita - Paso Doble - Very powerful, but the effort is too heavy-handed making him stiff. Once he tempers that into something more fluid, Lawrence will go far. Shirley indicates that the hands should be in constant motion throughout the dance. 20

5/14 #BBCStrictly

Sarah & Julian - Quickstep - Nice potential but TOO rigid posture & often hunching shoulders. I'm sure that'll work out. 15

4/14 #BBCStrictly

Tabby & Mark - Jive - This was very nice for week 1. Flips & kicks were determined. The only slip up really was going out of time to step into a final somersault. Finals potential. Craig under rated this one. 22
3/14 #BBCStrictly

Will & Diane - Samba - Too many static poses. Samba requires the hips in constant motion. Stiff armography. But hey it's the first week; if he loosens up he has potential. 18

#BBCStrictly may have had the best opening perrformances since I've watched. Please see my post earlier today regarding the cheapened, downgraded intro sequence.

Here we go. Judges' total scores are at the end of each critique
1/14 #BBCStrictly

Thought I posted here how crappy & AI-laden the new opening for #BBCStrictly was. Guess I didn't. They also sped it up to accommodate the exaggerated moves in a short space of time.
Let's go back to the good REAL stuff rather than BREAK what didn't need fixing.
