Chow campaign responds, claiming Bradford's announcement builds on ideas the incumbent implemented while she was in office:

"Bradford never took an interest in protecting renters as a city councillor and it’s clear he still doesn’t. Just ask the tenants." #ToPoli

Car Dependency Strikes Again!

“The ethos of Park(ing) Day is to celebrate the use of urban public space for people and challenge the dominance of the automobile in cities."

If we had the #PoliticalWill we'd have Park(ing) Day every single day!

[#TOpoli early voting Oct 6-11 !] If you're busy, early voting can let you pick when to bote, & stand in shorter lines. (I was in and out in 15 minutes, last time). Put it on your calendar! Set a reminder! Tell your neighbours! Election day for Toronto’s 2026 municipal election is Monday […]

Per @albertkoehl.bsky.social's latest article in @spacing.bsky.social, "If bike lanes were actually removed today, the premier would lose his scapegoat. How would he then explain worsening motor traffic congestion?" Well said! #BikeTO #TOpoli #ONpoli #VisionZero spacing.ca/toronto/2026...

Bradford campaign responds, praising the existing breakfast program:

"Toronto's school breakfast program is one of the best things this city does... with respect, it’s not an announcement. It’s an idea without a plan to pay for it, without a plan to organize it." #ToPoli

@fast-track.toOct 5, 2026, 1:02 PM

This is something that can be implemented relatively quickly and on a budget. That’s why it’s the first point in our plan, and that’s why it must be a core element of how Toronto improves and expands its streetcar network over the months and years ahead.

Olivia Chow announcing plans to expand the city’s school food program to include lunch.

Her campaign says the move will be phased in and “funded like the existing school food program, which is jointly by the City, other levels of government, and private donations.” #ToPoli

Input from Toronto-Danforth residents and people with knowledge across the ward has been turned into 12 areas of questions, each with deeper questions to help you move beyond campaign promises and understand what candidates can realistically accomplish over the next four years.

I'm not in Toronto this time, I'm in nearby Mississauga with a different Mayoral election. So can't help the Toronto election in any significant way. DO NOT want Bradford, or any of his ilk. Anyone associated with the Broken Cue, are very bad no good choices. #TOPoli 🤨🍁 #BikeTO #BikeSauga

Toronto is a city that is afraid to move forward. It doesn't matter who is mayor. #topoli

That seems like the bureaucracies approach to downtown Yonge Street. Widen the sidewalks, make Yonge into a two lane street. Add bicycle lanes if possible. This does not make a pedestrian street. #topoli
