After the E-waste recycling plant and the Public Works Collective, the largest employer in West Harewood is the Messenger's Guild. Almost every Avian in town is a member (though many are not active) and the Guild's Head is also a Town Councilor. You don't wanna mess with the Guild.

Wertham's biggest companies are Atlas Industries (cars, high-tech, consumer electronics, prediction markets, military tech) and Greer International (agriculture, food retail, high-tech, biotech and medical) and the Menes Group (real estate, construction, shipping)

Besides the government and the Temple, the harbor and docks remain the heart of the city.

Major trading companies retain control of docks and shipping, though individual fishing is more prominent now, but function like part of the community with no one having outstanding influence.

Ultimately, it's all The Mayor. Every government and administrative position is held by single-minded and questionably human puppets of the world's dictator.

People are free to start up "independent" businesses and brands, but The Mayor licenses and regulates them all.

Platypus Station's industry has to do with its role as a major space port, trade hub, and center of diplomacy.

So you have factories involved with ship repair, transit systems to transport supplies for said ships, and tourism.

Platypus is a popular destination.

Olympia is filled with industries, but there is one: SweechTech. It's a brand-new tech company that's responsible for advanced things like laser guns and hoverboards.

It's a big one that is slowly taking over after the war, but they're not the bad guys.
