WIP Playing around with kid-friendly #tempera #paint #sticks & #Posca fine point #acrylic paint pens. They work similar to glue sticks. They dry, no residue but water will reactivate them so be prepared.

Testing new inks, nibs, and ideas for my book's cover.

I worked on a cheap paper to get a feel of the nibs, and check the colors.

That's how I discovered that, if you're left handed, some calligraphy nibs will be a nightmare ~

The title of the book (Le Roi et la Licorne, meaning The King and the Unicorn in French) and my pen name are written on the page, with blue ink. It's not smooth at all, as the nib struggled to let the ink flow. But I also tried to write my pen name in mirror writting (right to left, letters reversed), and then the nib worked perfectly.
