@seasaltclouds.bsky.social"I've studied. But I still don't understand the rules of this world. Tell me, when will there ever be a world like that?
Where girls, just like boys, can go to school, take the imperial exams, serve as officials, do business and earn their own money?"
Powerful script. #AgainstTheCurrent
@cdramanews.bsky.social#AgainstTheCurrent has officially claimed the #1 spot on the VPulse Global Popularity Rankings!
@aimaiami.bsky.social#AgainstTheCurrent Ok I know I’m going to get my head handed to me but I really don’t like the way the drama skipped over Jialan telling/not telling Jinqi that she is in fact his Bride.Like how does that even work in practice? And what are they doing in Taipei suddenly having sex with no discussion?

@cdramanews.bsky.social#LiMeng and #LiuMeihan promoting the mega hit cdrama #AgainstTheCurrent for WeTV.
@danisdiary.bsky.socialThey really ate with this casting. Lesser actors would have not been able to understand the depth and impact of this story or the importance of portraying the characters in a nuanced manner that would allow personal growth through time.
@danisdiary.bsky.socialDaye got plans!
@winterwoman112.bsky.socialIs this a dream? Or did I miss some kind of invisible episode? Because what's with this time skip with. Why is there a huge gap? #AgainsttheCurrent
@her-cool-aunt.bsky.socialI think the “cycle of life” aspect was neatly portrayed when 3rd brother’s wife was giving birth at the same time as grandmother had a stroke. #AgainstTheCurrent
@her-cool-aunt.bsky.socialI’m very happy to have been proved right on this. We didn’t need yet another revenge story (there are many good ones out there already) but a drama like this is so beautifully different, and its message of living well no matter your circumstances, resonates even for us now. #AgainstTheCurrent
@danisdiary.bsky.socialI can’t comment on today’s episode of #AgainstTheCurrent with photos and videos right now but DAMN! It’s good.
@tinacmml.bsky.socialWatching ep39 of #cdrama #AgainstTheCurrent feels more like story of life than lovestory- or we say in German "Familiensaga": journey through life of FL from childhood until old age.
I think it will go full circle: we'll accompany FL at least until her daughter will have her age when all started 😍
