I do agree that most of the world looks at the United States with envy, and they wish they lived here too. #StudentsTalkPolitics

It is true that we should remain positive that everything will turn out for the better but it's so hard to in this America we are currently in.

I mean is it really that good of a look if some people come to the U.S. for a chance to just be alive? I can’t really think of many developed nations who look at the U.S. enviously

I think they're right about doing our best to remain optimistic. It's hard to remain so sometimes when we see so much bad news in the world today. I urge all to NOT give in to cynicism.

Even if the American Dream is not a thing anymore, there's people who still move here because of the opportunities offered in the U.S. However, politicians should aim to bring the American Dream back...

It shouldn’t be called the "American Dream" because not everyone has the same opportunities to succeed in this country.

The fact that our newest generations are having so many worries about our futures is upsetting. How can this "American Dream" be something we can't even achieve.

Especially for those that lack job experience, the job hunt feels especially daunting. I'll end up being in a similar situation soon, and this feeling definitely hasn't gone away for me.

I found it interesting that the copilot was able to get through airport security with a knife despite all the safety measures in airports. I was also surprised that a passenger was able to help take control of the situation by using a move he had learned from watching a video. #StudentsTalkPolitics

The American dream was something being sold long ago… and boy have they sold out. I got an idea for a new slogan the Gov outta use. “THE AMERICAN PIPE DREAM” lol

LITERALLY. We're all trying our best but it's not enough

As a college student, hearing that even people with degrees struggle with layoffs makes me worry about my future. We’re told to go to college and work hard, but is that enough to reach the American Dream anymore? #StudentsTalkPolitics

It's so sad how our dreams be more real than real life :/

The American dream is fading away but that doesn't mean any of us should give up. Life is full of challenges and I'm proud to live in a country that second chances are possible! #StudentsTalkPolitics @studentstalkpols.bsky.social

Sometimes I think I won't be better than my parents and these people are like I would say feeding my fears but I really strive and hope to become better than my parents. Hard work might not be enough but I really want it to [email protected] #StudentsTalkPolitics

"We made Iraq great again, thanks to my exceptional job" I bet he's already thinking on posting this LOL.

@studentstalkpols.bsky.social I agree with Leanhardt. You can really see how America was moving along the right path until it just completely failed us.

The American Dream can become reality its just a long road to build it so that all people can be equal in freedom and opportunity so that this country can become what it advertise to the world and its people

THIS IS WHAT I WANT TO SEE! HOW IMMIGRANTS ARE BECOMING U.S CITIZENS! Not how they are taken away from their families or assaulted.

@studentstalkpols.bsky.social
It's heartwarming to see that the American Dream was capable for so many individuals, but after so long it wasn't like this dream was going to be for our whole lives.
