I hope you are Ok ? And just walking past the hospital. A robin singing early at home and then several in the hedge along the canal cycling into work. #FirstBirdofMyDay a heron from yesterday.

First birds of my day: eleven Goldfinch twittering wildly around the top of a nearby tree, a pair of Magpie perching on adjacent TV aerials opposite me, and a lone Carrion Crow shouting into the lightening dawn.

I’m wandering the grounds of a churchyard in Kirkby Lonsdale and Merlin just can’t keep up with all the birdsong. Jackdaws first seen, squabbling on the church tower, blackbirds, robins, wrens, blue and great tits also seen. Back home tomorrow. Wish I could stay longer😊 #Firstbirdofmyday #Whatsyours
First birds of my day: a pair of Magpie rattling as they flew low over the rooftops, a trio of Goldfinch twittering wildly around a treetop, and a lone Rook raucously commenting on the rising sun.

The FBOMD were a couple of jackdaws patrolling the bottom end of our street, one on the road and one on the roof of the old chapel. As I've just been typing, I've just seen a oair of house martins fly into a nest on next door's house z they're a bit late for nesting! #FirstBirdOfMyDay
First bird of my day. A beautiful wood pigeon sitting on the fence preening when I opened the curtains this morning. It will have been eating some of our garden's berry abundance earlier and was now having a post-breakfast scrub. #FirstBirdOfMyDay
First bird of my day: a pair of goldfinches feeding on thistle seeds on a calm, quiet morning. #Firstbirdofmyday
