#TBBChat I have so many favorites, it’s hard to choose. But the most recent one I added to my comfort movie rotation is Strange Magic. I love Marianne and the Bog King 🥰
A long time comfort movie is Kung Fu Panda 2
And one of my favorite characters is still Shiro from Voltron (s8 did him so dirty 😭)

#TBBChat oh goooooodness. So many. I'll just mention a few.

The Last Unicorn
Bee and Puppycat
Over the Garden Wall

Yup! Those are my favorites! Goodness, I absolutely love Greg from OtGW. He's so optimistic in the best way, and all that he says is comedy gold.

TBB Chat Q3: What is your current favorite animated show and / or movie? Any favorite characters?

Animation is super important to me. Anime in particular was such a HUGE influence on me when I was growing up, and helped develop who I became as a creative. You can probably guess a few of them.

I actually have 'animated' thoughts. Even my real life memories appear animated in my head.

I had so many favorites, but for this I'm going to say Digimon Tamers, and Beelzemon. I loved that guy. I think it was a mix of his design and his journey of redemption. I just really vibed with him and thought he was soooo cool. I still have Beelzemon figures and TCG cards to this day.

I appreciate it as an art form. I feel like I missed out, not learning how to draw or animate. I love imagining my own animated series, my own story or a reboot of another project.

But it's just dreams. I'm happy being a writer and getting to watch other people's work on my screen.

#TBBChat I’ve had a lifelong love for animation as an art form. I love the techniques of traditional styles, its evolution, and how limitless it can be compared to realism. Many of my all time favorite movies/shows are animated because the storytelling can be really beautiful too ❤️

Howdy #TBBChat! I'm Linn and I'm procrastinating right now. I should be writing, but instead I'm here doing this, haha. I'm also taking a break from journaling. I've been in a big journaling mood lately and doing it like everyday.

#TBBChat It's so incredibly important to me, and has been since I could remember.

I wanted to be an animator to tell my stories, once upon a time. I love the history (okay, well some of the history) behind animation from all over the world.

I see a lot of my stories in various anime styles & so on

Animation is extremely important to me. I struggle to watch “people shows” because I get social anxiety and situational anxiety so watching people shows drains me just like hanging out with people. But cartoons? Cartoons restore my soul. I spend a lot of time thinking in gifs and I think

#tbbchat

pump that shit in my bloodstream

#TBBChat Q2

I really love animation! Some of my all time favorite movies are animated and it always frustrates me when people don't take it seriously as an art form. There are so many incredible things that you can only get away with in animation!
(AKA, why I hate live action remakes)

TBB Chat Q2: How important is animation to you? Is it something you think about a lot? Or not all that much?

... Okay I say no characters stand out to me but the more I think about it, the more I remember the character I wanted to be from about age 3, when I first saw the movie: Raffiki from the Lion King.

Yes, really.

#TBBChat

I didn't get to watch normal stuff for a long time as a kid because of my mother's religious beliefs... But eventually I watched the MegaMan Battle Network anime, and Digimon Tamers, and Sailor Moon before those two. I remember watching Transformers Armada... Fucking SD Gundam 😂
