#StudentsTalkPolitics Political disagreements are normal, but nowadays it reflects how people people view others. When someone's political beliefs include racism, or discriminatory ideas, it starts becoming a moral issue that CAN end relationships. Politics isn't the same as it was ten years ago.

Hard to believe that the United States' forces have finally left Iraq... still, I feel bad for the poor Iraqis; they're still faced with other threats. So many lost lives over the course of all these years and still this war isn't over for them. @studentstalkpols.bsky.social #StudentsTalkPolitics

I agree. There MUST be some guidelines that govern the relationship. If your "politics" requires you to believe that you are superior to me or that I shouldn't exist at all, I can't just "agree to disagree" with that kind of thinking.

I get what Spencer Cox is saying about people's relationships falling apart due to politics, but I feel he's missing the point that it isn't the politics but rather the actions that those people are supporting that leads to a fallout.
