#hwa1 #herewego Pt.2: I need to learn to let loose, let ideas flow, allow myself to be frustrated if something goes wrong, and improve my capabilities. These verbal and visual assignments will help me break out of my shell, since they are typically not the mediums I'm familiar with for class.

#hwa1 #herewego Pt. 1: I am willing to risk perfection this term in this course. What I mean by this is that, as a STEM pre-med student, I strive for perfection and exactness. However, in this course, Ashley mentioned to be prepared to be lost in this class. (i will continue in next post)

Pt 2: Because I am a novice at essentially everything we are going to be doing in this class, it is my goal to accept that things may not always be initially perfect and not to judge myself too harshly. I hope I will be proud of my efforts at the end of the semester! #hwa1 #herewego

Pt. 1: I think the biggest thing I will try to risk during this class is one of the things we should aim to bring to 209, finishing each experiment before judging it. I am naturally a perfectionist, and it is very easy for me to overreact midway through a project and get discouraged #hwa1 #herewego

In 209, we have a collaborative journal space through Bluesky that enables us to all interact and respond directly to the course material we are working with. We also work on assignments throughout the semester that come together to form the final project #hwa1 #209explanation

Canvas is where we can find the more "traditional" aspects of a course, such as where to find the "Hanging with Ashley" videos and the task lists, while Bluesky is where we get to directly interact with our peers and respond to the videos/readings we have been assigned #hwa1 #209flow

Having the verbal and visual tracks "clash" until the final projects allows us to not only sit in that clash and analyze it, but also for a new, third voice to come out that wouldn't have been present within each track individually #hwa1 #whatbecomespossible
