Well, there's one thing about this...95% was bullshit.

Oh, six years ago happened. The Government did make up the mythos. The Laughing Man WAS inspired by a coffee shop...but that wasn't the Laughing Man who did this stuff today. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

Oh, and the logo the Laughing Man came up with? A combination of the Catcher In The Rye quote...and an emoji inspired by the logo of the Star Child coffee shop. All of this gets through to Serano and he agrees to FINALLY testify. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

In short, all the "Real" Laughing Man, a college student, did was to kidnap a CEO to bring to attention the Murai Vaccine...and when the CEO tried to double cross him, that's when the events on TV happened...and the GOVERNMENT created the mythos around it for cover ups. #GhostInTheShell

So, the politician from earlier? Yeah, turns out he showed up and offered to make all the problems go away...for a certain "Donation" and they created The Laughing Man themselves to cover up this whole thing. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

Back to the modern day and the two go over the events that happened, namely how events spiral out of control, how people got caught up...and how everybody decided to keep the secret of the micro machines rarely working. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

Sure enough, the minute The Laughing Man let go of the hack, Serano said "SUCKER" and that's when the events of six years ago happened. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

So, he agrees to a compromise: He'll act on his own and if everything checks out, he'll tell the press everything. The Laughing Man agrees...but then remembers one thing: Serano is a CEO, meaning 95% chance of lying his ass off. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex

Well, we had a bit of an impasse six years ago: The Laughing Man points out the Murai Vaccine works now and the people who rejected, complete with a special stamp that went "BWA-HAHAHAH-HAHAHA," are corrupt.

Surano thinks time is all that's needed for a cure to a rare disease. #GhostInTheShell

Srano argued six years ago that it was rare NOW for it to work, but in the not too distant future next Sunday AD...

However, the Laughing Man argues that the Murai Vaccine actually works NOW and those who suffer can't wait until Next Sunday AD... #GhostInTheShell #MST3K

As a reminder, the brain hardening is rare but it happens...BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT the supposed "Cure" working is even RARER, but it's the placebo that's making the government bank. #GhostInTheShell #StandAloneComplex
