My WIP mc Bethany becomes a writer at the end of the story. She writes children's fairy stories at first, then moves on to write for teens and adults. She still loves fantasy but desires variety.

I don't know about the others, but Marcus would write some kind of textbook. He knows a lot about various subjects, so it could be science, history, math... Something technical and precise.

Sulien does have several drafts of his 'absolutely poorly written fantasy novel' that he keeps hidden amongst several different boxes in the basement.

Desi would write horror. She works in the horror film business doing practical effects and loves old scary movies. Also, her life is about to become pretty frightening!

TFTNG- Acanthus and Cypress are technically writing the series on paper.

S3- Rebecca would probably write something about the impressionists. If fiction, then she'd write something about a tortured painter that is doing his best to survive (loosely based on Van Gogh)

Kane/Sean might write a guide on potions and alchemy, including personal insights.
Callie would write a memoir in tribute to the people she's had to leave behind.

What kind of book would your MC write?

This made me think of a specific scene in Rites of Departure, where Zel is trying to convince his new necromancer friend that learning to pickpocket is worth his time.

Zel would write a how-to book, just for him😅

Renard would totally be one of those parents who makes up stories to tell his children at bed time. I could see him writing those stories down at some point, complete with pictures.
