The broadcast 'wheel' deal ended with NBC's telecast. Maybe the years of rubber-stamping, genre fraud and just plain putrid choices of actors/series added up and sealed its fate.

Genuinely, nothing against Jean Smart. She is a truly funny and talented woman, but was she really the best female lead across five years? Seems a little like voting was done with the intention of this accolade. #Emmys
