@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialBukichi Itoi is responsible for one of the most funniest memes in the history of Shenmue, but his meme actually shows the reality of Chinese people living in Japan back then.
(The idea for this post came from ShaunHastings in the Shenmue community)
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialThe fake/fan-made Shenmue IV trailer from a year ago had so much passion, care, love, and dedication put into it, along with a deep knowledge of the series lore from this shot alone of Shenhua using her powers, which is taken from the PB trailer.
@wtshenmue.bsky.socialOh My! It's Past Midnight! Time for our local "Fine And Dandy" to head on home😌 You should to Ryo! Ine-san is so worried☹️

@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialTerry Ryan is a guy who commands The Mad Angels, a gang of ruthless men, who harass the hard-working occupants of the New Yokosuka Harbor, and extort them out of money.
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialThis shot of Ryo sitting down near the cherry blossom tree in the fake Shenmue Remake trailer made by LanDC is very similar to the same scene from the 1998 Shenmue Premiere where Ryo does the same thing, and that's another reference I caught in the fake trailer.
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialThis fan-made Shenmue remake trailer made by LanDC, a well-respected, popular member of the Shenmue community for the longest time shows that Shenmue as a brand and IP still has a market and demand.
It should be noted that this has AI.
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialRyo's journey is more than just finding Lan Di and avenging his father, but a journey of self-discovery, growth, maturity, identity, and coming of age that comes with growing up, along with being a man, and he also learns very different martial art principles.
@wtshenmue.bsky.socialAww🥰 Tom came back for Honey-san! So sweet him taking her home🏡
Enjoy an 8 Hour Walk Through Shenmue! Past Midnight in Dobuita👍

@wtshenmue.bsky.socialI think there's a lot of you that are going to share the same answer as me 😉 #LetsGetShenmue4
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialRyo really loves his sailors and can't get enough of them, huh? If only he cared this much about Nozomi, and so how much people really do look out for his well-being.
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialThe new cover for Shenmue3Enhanced really made me realize that if this had been the main cover art for the original release of Shenmue 3 in 2019, the initial perception would have still been the same, but the game wouldn't have been seen a half-job of a product.
@wtshenmue.bsky.social@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialThe #Shenmue anime did a lot of things that I both love and hate about this version of the Shenmue story. It added necessary changes to characters, but I'm not a fan of the changes done to Fangmei.
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialRyo's arrival at the New Yokosuka Harbor marks a shift in Shenmue's narrative, where it takes the 18 year old pursuer of justice and vengance against Lan Di for the murder of father, and places him in the unfamiliar setting of the NYH.
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialAnyan Li and Takashi Takashiro have a really strong resemblance with each other in both appearance, look, and just the clothing they wear.
They could easily be mistaken for each other.
@wtshenmue.bsky.socialRyo brought the juke box from You Arcade in his brain and rocks out when doing a mini game in real life? Absolutely love that theory 😆💪
@shenmuevillage.bsky.socialFuku-san looks so shocked by what he's seeing! Maybe he saw the ending of Shenmue IV and V, so he wasn't expecting that twist finale.... or he's puzzled by the way it went about telling it to the player.
