I get tons of videos about animals, traveling, or edits of my fav shows/movies/celebs/anime. So I'm not 100% sure what my feed says about my perception of reality....maybe that I tend to be in my head a lot and think that certain things are too out of reach #hwa3 #feedreflection

this image felt real bc I’ve walked by this street so many times but this time i’ve noticed these beautiful flowers and it left me in awe and a reminder how beautiful nature is. Everytime i open my camera roll, i like to click on this photo and look at it. it makes me happy #hwa3 #itfeltrealbecause

Wiley's Napoleon feels more real because when I look at Jacques's version all I see is a white man going into war but when it's Wiley's version, I see a black man wanting to have just as much power as a white man. When in history it was hard and even today it could be hard #hwa3 #thetwonapoleons

another thing that could mean, "it feels real" is that the message relates to you or society as a whole. It makes you feel multiple things at once #hwa3

reading "TMITM" and "Reality Hunger", real ig is something true without twisting anything and reading the second article the only thing that could be "true" is art. Whether it's a painting or even music. #hwa3

Wiley's drawing makes me feel a little confused but proud. In a sense that there are things in the painting that I, myself, don't understand why it was put there but I understand the drawing as a whole and how it represents the black men in society today. #hwa3 #wileyfeelings

the tattoos on his arm might get overlooked because since it's in foreign writing, people might now care to see what it means or why he showed the tattoos #hwa3 #onesmalldetail

I would say that my algorithm therefore informs me of what I, subjectively, associate with something being real. I constantly fed content that aligns with my associations of societal "norms." #hwa3 #feedreflection

Seeing an image of a person in an office on the phone while drinking coffee feels real. The coffee part feels pretty real to me in that this is what I associate offices and its employees with. If it was replaced with ice cream while on the phone it would feel different. #hwa3 #itfeltrealbecause

I would say that the first version feels most real to me. My first impression of the second painting felt very off. This makes more sense now that I realize that what has been "real" to me in this case has been the accumulation of cognitive schemas in a particular way #hwa3 #thetwonapoleons

When we say something "feels real" I would point out the word "feels." The way someone would say something "feels real" is subjective to them. While others can all have the same subjective general feeling in x(situation), we all experience it uniquely and apart from each other. #hwa3

a different outlook on life or a different view of ideas/information. I think that the perception of reality is subjective though, if we define "perception" as personal views, opinions, and thoughts. We have the rational faculties to think as individuals and perceive unique from each other. #hwa3

I have been tweeting so far, yes. I think that I would have to think about the "R" vs "r" difference in the perception of reality. I certainly would say that a large part of our perception is subject to change or differ. For example, people are raised differently than others and thus have #hwa3

Connecting the painting to McLuhan, I can see how the figure in the painting can also serve as an anti-environment for my first impression of a knight being in place of the man. Changing the painting in this manner makes me understand how I have been "primed" to see things in particular ways #hwa3

I am pretty amused at Wiley's painting, personally. I feel this way as I feel that the man in the painting would not match the separate impression I get from the horse and the background. The man makes the image feel a little "unconventional" as I would expect a knight to match #hwa3 #wileyfeelings

One small detail I think is important to notice is how the patterns in the background alternate by column. I think most people would take a quick glance at the painting and focus more on the figure itself and end up skipping the pattern. To me it matters because it is a #hwa3 #onesmalldetail
