For today's bird of the day theme, #Elegant I decided on this distinctive flight of an 'iwa (Great Frigatebird) alongside the moon in a daylight sky. "'iwa" means "thief" in Hawaiian, as these birds like to steal fish from other species. So I called this image "Stealing The Moon" :) #birds 📷🌿🦉

An 'iwa and the moon in the sky together. The 'iwa is a LARGE bird (about a 2 meter wingspan) and black with a whiteish chest/neck and long, pointed seabird wings. They almost never land. :)
