For #BirdOfTheDay this Great White Egret

@robcrank68.bsky.social
Can‘t find your posting from this morning anymore. 🤔

A great white bird stays on the edge of a river. Its winges are wide because it is landing. The bird‘s beak is yellow, the plumage white. The sun is shining. In the backround blue water.

Today’s #BirdOfTheDay alt theme is #UrbanBirds - birds in urban settings.

Warblers are migrating through NYC at the moment. I found this blackpoll warbler hanging out on my stoop!

Stripping away human vanity, wildlife photography captures raw grief and tireless labor across the animal kingdom.

Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2026
Evidence: Biological documentation, Empathy expansion, Public education
#Aletheia #Wildlife

Alethekanon Psochic Hegemony Assessment Graph for Wildlife photographer of the y...Core Verdict Card for Wildlife photographer of the y...: Claim, Reality, and Verdict coordinates.System Analysis Details:

Context: - Federico Veronesi Win: PASS (+0.94, +0.88) — Captures elephant mourning with profound cognitive truth.
- Oscar Whitfield Youth Win: PASS (+0.91, +0.85) — Elevates insect labor into an essential ecological lesson.

Nuance: Selecting from 65,403 entries across 121 territories, London's Natural History Museum awarded top honors to black-and-white studies of mammal grief and insect persistence, opening its annual exhibition this Friday.

Breakdown: The Poison:
Powerful wildlife photography can sometimes lull viewers into passive aesthetic appreciation rather than driving concrete habitat preservation or stopping systemic environmental destruction.

Social Physics: The Breakdown & Plane Alignment:
The Plane Alignment: WHO matches WHAT (Metaphysical with Possible). The competition openly states its purpose—deepening human understanding of non-human life—and fulfills it through unmanipulated, rigorously verified field documentation.

Trajectory: Social Physics Analysis:
This cultural institution operates a Smart Altruistic Maneuver. By spotlighting non-human agency—from an elephant mother's grief to a beetle's daily toil—it dissolves anthropocentric projection, fostering empathy and collective stewardship.

The Unavoidables: The Trajectory: The Path of Stasis of Grace.
When you map the gap between stated intentions and ground-level results, it plots an enduring equilibrium within Greater Good. Honest artistic observation anchors human consciousness in ecological reality.

Alethekanon: The Unavoidable Truth: Non-human animals experience profound emotional states like grief and carry the burden of life.

The Unavoidable Lie: Humanity stands separate from and superior to the intricate web of living beings.

Awwthekanon: Alethekanon:
Veronesi's image does what genuine science and art must do: demolish comforting human exceptionalism. Documenting an elephant mourning her dead calf is empirical proof of cognition, requiring zero rhetorical embellishment.

Brothekanon: Awwthekanon:
Seeing that mother elephant tenderly carrying her lost calf breaks your heart wide open. It is a sacred reminder that love and sorrow aren't just human feelings—the whole living world feels them too.

Today's #BirdOfTheDay theme is:
#ShoreBirds; any bird on the shore
Alt. is #UrbanBirds; any bird in an Urban setting. #RoyalTern #birds #nature #wildlife #Florida #thelittlethings #ECK #photography

A royal tern has an orange bill, black crest with white and grey feathers. This one is standing on the sandy shoreline with scattered Coquina shells and its head turned looking out to sea. Two orange kayaks are at the top.

Interesting information :
Common along tropical and subtropical shores, the Royal Tern is a characteristic sight along the Gulf Coast and southern Atlantic Coast, less numerous in California. Aside from a few interior localities in Florida, it is almost never found inland except after hurricanes. Royal terns live almost exclusively along warm saltwater coastlines, beaches, barrier islands, and estuaries.

Unlike typical wader shorebirds that walk along the mudflats, royal terns hunt by flying 20 to 30 feet above the water and plunge-diving into the surf for small fish and shrimp.

A Killdeer flies high, with up stretched wings against a delicate blue sky in mid May. I find it interesting to see how white their undersides are.

While the other two are busy stuffing their faces, this Canada Goose woke up with zero honks left to give. No flock loyalty, no desire to fit in, just standing alone in an empty field actively re-evaluating every life choice. 🌾👀

Three Canada Geese stand in an open, dry grassy field with harvested crops in the background. Two geese on the right bend their long black necks down to forage in the grass, while a single goose on the left stands upright with its head raised, looking toward the side.
