#Septopolis 24. Or̉el̉īs has many parks where vanalāras can relax and socialise (and the alorvu also have those in the outer city)—they may be authoritarian elves, but they still appreciate nature! Sometimes, there are also free theatre performances in those.

The largest concentration of places like this are in the Fifth Ring of the City. Main thoroughfares are more of like a club scene, while the further back streets have your local drinking holes and hangout spots.

Winterstone has some places for relaxation in wonderful, guild-approved ways! High society has its own teahouses and taverns in the Silver Spires, and the Park District has bathhouses and theaters.

There are cafes all over the city, and the cafe culture in the city is you get your drink, sit around and chat with everyone else, possibly do your knitting or whatever at the same time, and/or play board games. People can stay there for hours after work.

A little more homey and cozy compared to yesterday's places, I want you to share the locations that serve a role we've been losing rapidly in our own world.

Where's Bob's pint after work? Where are the game stores that host low cost events? The birdhouse craft workshops?

A23. Let's say "All of the above" for Sesina in general BUT for Ancus, the main attractions are the sunflower fields and the Saints murals on the side of people's houses. These exist in the "poor" side of town. The rich side of town has all the tourist-y stuff in Ancus.

I'm going to say, yes there are. They would be located in the outer ring of the Station, in the nice areas. The story doesn't go into any of them specifically, but it would make sense for them to exist.

There's an open area in almost every population centre that's used for festivals that is open air. Size varies with the availability of space, but almost every neighborhood has one, sometimes it's on the beach.

The Eighth Ring of the Tower City is made up entirely of cultural buildings. Art Galleries, Music Halls, Playhouses, Museums, Restaurants, Statuary Parks, Workshops, anything imaginable and all works of art in themselves. All free to enter and experience.

The hottest live music spot in West Harewood is just outside the town limits and does not -quite- recognize the Town Council authority. Built out of an old, graffiti-covered bus, Club Vermin serves cheap booze and loud music to Folk of all sizes. Try the adder wine, if you dare!

These days, the Celestial Temple overlooking the city is the major repository of art and culture. There's a lot of religious statuary throughout and around the Temple.

Since Song Maester Sforzando Alighieri took up residence in the Temple, musical performance has surged in popularity.

There is definitely a lot of tourist-focused arts and culture in Belaqua, a lot of which is up at the pleasure palace. Concerts, theatre, dancing etc.

Down in the town you'd be more likely to find local stuff and family oriented things like puppet shows.

I love this question! In today Eloy, I think the closest to a museum is the Sunland Visitor Center (hope it's still open?!). It's in the old school. From the style, you can tell it was built back when education and public schools were considered points of pride (1930). #Septopolis #HistorytownAZ
