An Eastern cottontail (Sylvilagus floridanus) rabbit sits next to a ramp, with its back and fluffy white tail toward the camera and it's face looking off to the right. It has a mottled brown and grey agouti coat that serves as excellent natural camouflage. There are hints of warmer, reddish-brown fur around its neck and shoulders. It has large, dark, alert eyes on the side of its head. Its ears are upright and relatively short.
