"What's the problem?" squeaked a tiny, high voice from the control room.
"Are you the sound technician?" asked Zaza.
"Call me Mouse!"
"It sounds like a mixer problem, Mouse," Zaza said. "The bass seems to be too low. And the #treble is too high."

"From the top!" Zaza said and they started again. But something sounded wrong. The bass was absent and everything sounded thin and shrill. They looked at one another.
"Bebe thinks it sounds pukkin' awful," Bebe said.
