you will never make the army
nor walk through the hall of fame
Mother told us to look our best
trousers hitched above our vests
Sneeshy does as Sneeshy's do
in their own muddled way
they make it to the top of the pile
and never make good husbands

Among the drifts of powder snow
Between the sheets of drifting ice,
A place where few would dare to go
There dwells the most amazing sight.
For should you venture out so far
Into those chilly arctic wastes
You'll find that actually they are
Not quite so barren, should you wait.
There, in that paradise of white
Lurks; should your patience stand the test
A creature of gigantic height
Yet undetectable, unless
It's satisfied the coast is clear
That nothing's lurking nearby
And only then will it appear
A great behemoth called Sneeshy.
The blood within its veins is ice
It wears a coat of pure white snow
A monster men and beast alike
Have trampled on, but never know.
