From one of the highest Isle Royale peaks at 1,133 feet above sea level (roughly 530 feet above Lake Superior), the Greenstone Ridge Northeast Webcam, located at the peak of Mount Ojibway, captures a northeastern vantage point. The angle gazes across the spine of the Greenstone Ridge from Ojibway Tower to Passage Island Lighthouse. The webcam is solar powered and communicates multiple times per day, year-round, when power and communications infrastructure allows.

Located at the highest point along the Going-to-the-Sun Road, the Logan Pass area includes the Logan Pass Visitor Center, trailheads for the Highline and Hidden Lake trails, restrooms, potable water, and shuttle service. This view focuses on the Logan Pass parking lot with Mt. Pollock and Going-to-the-Sun Mountain in the background. Look close at this webcam to see water flowing over the side of this mountain. The water falls from a height of 2,425 feet! But you can also find many of these landscape features not quite as tall.

Description: Sheep Rock is one of the magnificent centerpieces of John Day Fossil Beds National Monument. Located just across the John Day River from the Thomas Condon Visitor Center, it rises over 1,000 feet above the valley floor. Colorful, fossil-rich volcanic ash layers can be seen on its slope. The camera is located at an elevation of approximately 2,100'.
