#LGBTQWriteAThon 8 Favorite outfit

In A Work of Art, artist Jenn dresses up for an Art Department party in a halter top and palazzo pants. She's got surprisingly buff arms and looks good doing it. (Her love interest thinks so at least!)

I think Lux wears a metaphorical mask, though it's constantly slipping off and they have to fix it. They've hid behind it for so long that they forget they can be emotional and trust people, but sometimes they will blindly trust someone to a fault that they need to hide again.

I think with both MCs in my WIPs, what you see is what you get. But in my Arthurian WIP, other characters are certainly wearing masks... you can prob guess which ones lol #lgbtqwriteathon

Harmony is anxious about people learning her secret (she’s a psychic). She was sent away from the station as a teen because people couldn’t handle it.

Delaney(the AI) fears Harmony will get herself in trouble she can’t talk her way out of and she promised to look after her.

My MC wears a metaphorical mask for sure. Henry doesn’t know who he truly is until he faces his past and can finally become himself. His magic is out of control until he learns where it comes from and how to wield its power.

My MC Katie has learned to mask her masculinity as a queer woman to try and seem as harmless as possible, but her boyish spirit always shines through. Bekah, on the other hand, is so attached to her mask she doesn't know what's her and what's her persona.

Day 7. Does your MC wear a mask.

No need to.

Masks? Oh yes. Masking his scars. Masking his identity. Masking his feelings. Honestly I don't know if there's a thing he doesn't mask...

#LGBTQWriteAThon:

Evadne is publicly known as a reality star/effectively an influencer, and seems to be someone that greatly benefits from the inequality of their system. Privately, she's from a very poor family that she is trying to take care of and wants to see this whole structure torn apart.

There are a few times where my pirate girls get up to shenanigans in disguise. But the biggest metaphorical mask is Kallista having to put on the swagger and play the part of the Pirate Queen.

Bethany wears a metaphorical mask of self-denial; denying that she's "abnormal" (autistic & bisexual) in a judgy, 1920s era small town that sees her as an outcast/misfit.

I'd say to a degree Hailey does. She puts on a very sunny, positive face but deep down she's hurting a lot and dealing with some badly internalized thoughts about herself.

Helena wears a literal mask. A carnival mask that hides her face.
