So I wasn't able to go through the world building doc much because of executive dysfunction but I did work on character designs for some of the secondary characters :]

Stage Comedy (looking to change the title) is a singular novel about a soulless monster and a mad scientist ponder and discover what it means to be human (while having kinky experiments).

I got some outlining done for it today! Super proud of myself!

I genuinely set out for DEAD BEATS to be a standalone, mostly because I had no ideas for any sequels.

Well, recently I’ve been marinating a sequel idea, but it’s still just a nice thought for now.

Got a one-shot out yesterday and have plans for at least 4 more spooky season shorts. I’m also cleaning up pre-canon lore, edging closer to where I want the first book to begin. My characters are starting to live and breathe more, I’m having so much fun. #LGBTQWriteAThon #FirstDraftFall #WriteSky

I got a good twelve pages of worldbuilding notes down for #FirstDraftFall, but that was about it, so far as writing goes.

Kind of rough start to the month, personally.

Here's hoping the rest goes smoother.

Decided on the horror science-fantasy! It'll be a standalone. No clue what the word count's gonna look like though what with the world building and (I fear) very dense interiority from at least one of the POV characters.
