10 - New Order - True Faith
Early NO standalone singles are all excellent, but for sentimental reasons Iโll go with this: I remember hearing it at the Hippodrome in Leicester Sq. ca. 1989 and thinking it was the best song Iโd ever heard.

Day 10. The Stone Roses - Elephant Stone
Day 10: Simon & Garfunkel - You Don't Know Where Your Interest Lies
The b-side to Fakin' It, released July 1967. The only Simon & Garfunkel song from a 45 that didn't make it onto an LP. Dana Valery's cover became a Northern Soul favourite.

Day 10
No Love Lost
Joy Division
Warsaw was the lead track on the Ideal for Living EP, JD's first release but this is my favourite.
I had a copy of this in my hands as a teenager in 1988 but thought ยฃ20 was excessive.

Day 10: Youโve Got Nothing to Lose * Michael Kiwanuka
Recorded in Nashville for Jack Whiteโs Third Man Records Blue Series, with White producing. The B-side was a Townes Van Zandt cover.
Wishing Michael a solid recovery.

Good morning, released in December 1968 with David Gilmour taking lead vocals. This was a "between albums" single with the Roger Waters driven Careful With That Axe Eugene on the b-side. Definitely the spirit of psychedelia

Day 10 ใCrazy Low Down Ways โข Ocean Colour Scene
The new single on the 2001 best of album Songs For the Front Row. Should have opened the album but was the last track. A fun listen and underrated.
