He's the fictional character created by the painter Norman Rockwell.

Gillis was a befuddled looking young man who had just become a U.S. soldier. 🧵

Interested entirely because any package from anyone's home was the only opportunity to get a cookie or a brownie made stateside by somebody's mom.
