TODAY'S CHARACTER: What would your character's constellation be?
Stories so old are told with shapes in the stars. If Homer's are up there, why not ours?
@peterrobin.bsky.socialDaryl, if he did not live in a non-supernatural universe, might well entice a pixie, as he resembles one, due to an unusual genetic condition and not, as his grandmother claims, because he is a changeling.

Hmmm. I think if Lunaris wanted to smooch a werewolf Amon might politely ask to watch.
Dorian found a selkie somewhere and convinced her to come home with him. She willingly took off her pelt for Rae and Rae promised to keep it safe for the entire encounter.

Romantically/sexually: Weslea could entice basically any self-aware entity that has an interest in young masculine humans.
Aromantically/asexually: Anything with basic intelligence that is susceptible to pheromonal communication. 🧵

*Noble stares in unimpressed*
Nyx has had his fair share of trysts with other creatures, but he would like to platonically entice a Kirin, Unicorn, or Phoenix. He likes the non-evil folklore characters like himself.
@glwalkerauthor.bsky.socialI'm giving Betti this question and he said he was fascinated by the Fresno Nightcrawlers. He's all about a good pair of pants (and maybe what might be in them)

@isaacxisaac.bsky.socialSo for today's #Octember, I can answer for Blackthorne instead… by saying that I intend it to become canon that Blackthorne has had a lifelong fantasy about being Sexy Kidnapped by an ambiguously evil fairy prince. Only I don't know when I'll be able to work that into the on-page narrative 🤣💀
@juliemarchbooks.bsky.social#Octember honestly there's a pretty vampiric character (Anthony) trying to ideologically seduce Leecie throughout FH, but ew, no one likes that. Actual answers below:

Vola would be obsessed with the Fresno Nightcrawler and Nat would totally fall for a selkie.
@bumblebigirl.bsky.socialDoes Wendy could as a folklore creature? She's full of fairy dust, she can fly and doesn't age. She's at least adjacent. And Dido certainly entices her a bit.
If not... a Tiefling maybe? Who doesn't like horns?

@joannamasters.bsky.socialJevin would love the sirens. Using music to lure men to their deaths? He'd try to play with them, and perhaps his talent could win them over.

Not could, but will! Milly (the half-dragon) will be getting a werewolf girlfriend in the next installment!
@adorkablesmile.bsky.social#Octember I think Maira would have a doomed fling with a selfie, or perhaps a siren. She's got that "ill-fated sailor" vibe going :3
@claragordon.bsky.socialIn THE GOLDEN STAIR, Rapunzel’s Mother Gothel (aka Galina) has a daughter through her villain couple with Mare. Mare is a mysterious man who‘s Not Quite Human. And without spoiling much, I’ll just say he reminds me of that time Johnny Knoxville played Rasputin. #Octember #WriteSky #WritingCommunity
@claragordon.bsky.socialIn THE GOLDEN STAIR, before he becomes Rapunzel‘s future prince, Ash ends up ensnared in the affections of Mother Gothel’s witch daughter.
@sunnehside.bsky.socialPoor Honjo. I can see him getting lured into an ill-advised romance with a creature like a Rusalka. He knows at a glance that she's a manifested spirit, but is drawn in by her neediness.... 🧵

@karamoonauthor.comEvil fae. Yes this going to happen. Good old honeytrap. Long, loooong time away from now.
@nailamoonsi.bsky.socialOnce, there was a catboy and wolfboy in love...
These two may or may not be the canon ones. Who can say!?
