The first part of Darwin's Cliff is set in the nineties so I got to relive the aesthetics of my teens. Tobie loves her secondhand jeans and t-shirts (from the seventies, which was FOREVER ago 😆) with plaid shirts and chunky boots.

Honestly I don't know that either of them have a *favorite* outfit, but broadly speaking, the clothing in this world is a mesh of Saxon, Viking, and Anatolian (Toviran) or Byzantine (Requini) influences.

Renee has an impeccable developing taste in what I'd call "soft butch rockabilly" (it becomes just Butch rockabilly as she gets older) and a love for hair accessories and leather jackets- she wears her favorite fit for a night on the town

Seymour of DEAD BEATS is pretty much a jeans-and-tee kind of guy, except for in the dream sequences, where it varies wildly.

One great outfit is when he goes on a fancy dinner date in Denver with an old flame. He gets fully done up in a crisp black suit with a deep purple shirt.

Katie's favorite outfit is anything in jeans but specifically jeans with any open top layer (jacket, blazer, dress shirt). Bekah's favorite outfit is anything with a tank top and cargo pants. #LGBTQWriteAThon

Wilder likes to wear anything with his hat! He has a cap with a falcon feather stuck in it. It's a bit too distinctive for a bandit...

Callum likes things that aren't fancy. He's been forced into enough fancy clothes. He hates having to think about what he's wearing.

Jake preferred his Watch uniform, when he had one. In its absence, he prefers something high-end casual or minimally formal

Alex prefers something upscale he can disrespect - let it wrinkle, wear loose, etc

Val loves an excuse to be formal & show off, but she also loves athleisure

Caly is partial to her Parody costume: leggings, a tunic with a split tail in the back and an obi belt, and a masked cowl with a deep hood to disguise her face. All in fabrics that shift colors in the light
