little dump of my photos from #vcfmw!! i'd have taken more but i was way too busy staffing my table gdjfgsjfsjigdkgd

Here are three other amazing exhibits from #VCFMW this past weekend: all with handheld devices. The #minidisc table is where i picked up a new player and a recorder for the collection.

Throwback to my #VCFMW table in 2024: I used to collect laptops as well as my current assortment of smaller gadgets. Sadly, 140 laptops take up a lot more space than 140 phones or Pda's so I sold them all 😥

I've had this page open for 24h. Obsessed with the C65 as a teen. Coveted this since it was announced. Let go of enough stuff at #vcfmw to even consider picking up a #mega65. It's a ton of money, not necessary, and I'm not even sure what I'd _do_ with it... but I'm so close to hitting that button.

Not five minutes after walking onto the #VCFMW floor I spotted this Presario 4550. It's not the exact model our family's first computer the 4526, but the AMD variant. A little while later I found the exact CD ROM drive it is supposed to have.

$50 well spent. I'm absolutely in love with this.

I'm actively curating a list of cool people for myself. If I saw you at #VCFMW this year, there's a good chance you're on the list - and even if not, if you have any interest in technology, I'm eager to add you here! bsky.app/profile/did:...

Went to my first #vcfmw this last weekend (just got home - stayed in Chicago with my folks through my birthday) -- can you tell?

See you there next year! #VCFMW

An amazing thing some of you may not have seen this past weekend at #vcfmw: bytex64’s MFM drive emulator. He got it up and running on Sunday and the speaker on it for drive activity sounds great!

Many of them also give the most amazing hugs. Nobody knows more about making others happy than a furry. #VCFMW

One of the highlights of my time at #VCFMW was meeting Isaac. Isaac is blind, and blew me away with his knowledge of mobile devices. He was able to pick up any one of my devices and tell me exactly what it is.

I tried to challenge him with a Microsoft Kin, but he knew exactly what he was holding!

One of the best #vcfmw booths BY FAR was @scottsgear.bsky.social. I was able to describe a Palm III camera by Kodak that I once owned and within seconds he handed it to me.

Just a phenomenal collection showing the incremental progress to our bland ho-hum slabs of today.

The world's network infrastructure is dependent on furries. That's an IT industry fact. #VCFMW

How about some super low resolution #VCFMW photos I took with a thermal printer / camera.
