We shall not cease from exploration
And the end of all our exploring
Will be to arrive where we started
And know the place for the first time.

On this day in 1888 TS Eliot was born.

He is best known for writing ‘Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats’. ‘Old Possum’ was a nickname Eliot was given by a friend.

Eliot loved cats and owned several, including Jellylorum, Pettipaws, Wiscus, and George Pushdragon!
